• Rachel Terry

    Rachel is the Founder of Pine Trees Counseling Center 501c3. Rachel believes that anyone can heal with hope.

    Rachel is a professional counselor who works with clients suffering from trauma, depression, marital discord, anxiety, addiction, and various mood disorders to take back control of their lives to become their best selves.

    Rachel is certified as an accelerated resolution therapy (ART) master clinician and Betrayal Trauma. She utilizes Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in her work with clients in person and online.

    Rachel holds a Masters in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, TX and is a licensed professional counselor supervisor in Texas.

  • Joshua Terry

    Joshua Terry manages the animals and property at The Hope Place and PTCC. Josh is a combat veteran and has worked and volunteered with the PTSD Foundation of America from 2015 to 2020.

    Josh earned an associates degree in emergency medicine, and worked as a paramedic and in private security until he attended Camp Hope in 2015.

    His commitment to helping other veterans and first responders like himself has driven him to work in his local community to make sure that no veteran is left behind.

  • Cameron Schober

    Cameron has a passion for helping those who are grieving and feeling stuck. He earned Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Wesleyan University. He is both a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor.

    Cameron usually employs a Solution-Focused and Narrative approach in sessions with teens, adults, families, and couples; training he received in London at the BRIEF Centre.

  • Jessica Barber

    Jessica has a knack for helping people uncover their amazing true selves after big adjustments or life transitions that might leave you feeling stuck or lost.

    Jessica earned a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington.

    She provides support and coping skills in the harder times of life to regain hope and move towards a path of a more meaningful, fulfilling, and peaceful life. Jessica views therapy in a holistic, Solution Focused, and Strength Based way to share the human experience.

  • Jessica Clough

    Jessica’s passion to help others and stand beside them while they are on the journey getting to where they want to be.

    Jessica graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Master’s of Social Work in 2016. She has experience working with complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, adults that have experienced childhood trauma, psychological abuse and neglect, and multiple forms of addiction. She has utilized Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), and EMDR.

  • Rachel Nauss

    Rachel has always had a heart for the things important to people. The same passion also fueled her own journey in mental and emotional healing.

    Rachel Nauss obtained a Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2006 and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Rachel is currently under supervision to be a Registered Play Therapist.

    She is passionate about all aspects of health and wellness and believes in a holistic approach when considering mental health.

  • Elissa Jeter

    Elissa believes in a holistic approach to Counseling, focusing on every aspect of one's life including Spiritual, Emotional, Behavioral, Cognitive, Social, Financial, etc.

    Elissa received her Master’s in Community Mental Health Counseling at the University of Rochester in Western New York. Following graduation, Elissa joined the US Army National Guard as a Behavioral Health Technician, which ultimately led her to Texas.

    While her theoretical approach is founded in Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy, she believes that every aspect of a person should be addressed in counseling.

  • Stephanie Kimmel

    Stephanie has a remarkable ability to create a safe space where the client has the opportunity to explore their unique situation for themselves and ultimately to help them shift their perspectives into healthier, more effective patterns.

    Stephanie is an Equine Specialist certified in Equine Facilitated Learning. She works alongside our therapists in Equine Assisted Counseling, a process that involves therapeutic change and growth with the support of horses.

    Stephanie has experience as a riding instructor and horse trainer specializing in positive reinforcement.
